The objective of the Richmond Hill Garden & Horticultural Society is to promote interest, involvement, education, and improvement in all areas of horticulture,
thereby providing beauty and enjoyment throughout the community.
Members include people who have large gardens, small gardens, patio or balcony gardens, and sometimes no garden at all.
Our many society activities and volunteer opportunities give experts and novices alike, a chance to learn, share, participate in, and enjoy the pleasures of gardening.

General meetings are held at 8:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month at the McConaghy Seniors’ Centre, 10100 Yonge St., (north of Major MacKenzie and south of Arnold Crescent.
Parking is available at the Centre (enter off Arnold or Yonge St) and in the church parking lot immediately south of the Centre (enter off Yonge St.).

Membership is open to residents of Richmond Hill and the surrounding area. To become a member, follow the instructions on our downloadable membership application form, or sign up while attending a general meeting.
Annual dues: Single $20, Family $25. Family membership includes two adults and children under 16 years of age; at age 16 years a person may become a member of the Society.
Non-members may attend a meeting for $5.

The Richmond Hill Garden & Horticultural Society will promote and practice horticultural and gardening activities which can develop, enhance, and sustain the well-being of our community.
